Ottawa Reformed Church is located in the heart of Ottawa County at 11390 Stanton Street, between 96th and 120th Avenues. Serving Christians in Olive Township and the surrounding communities of Holland, Zeeland, Allendale, Hudsonville and Grand Haven.

Sunday Schedule:

Traditional Worship at 8:30 a.m.

Sunday School at 9:45 a.m.

"The Rising" Contemporary Worship at 10:45 a.m.

Evening Worship at 6:00 p.m.

      Growth & Fellowship Opportunities 

 

         Ottawa Reformed Church

 

Sunday School at Ottawa is for all ages.  Several classes for adults are offered and change periodically.  See a current L.I.G.H.T. brochure or call the church office for up-to-date information. 

Wednesday Night includes learning opportunities for all ages.  Classes are offered for adults.  See current L.I.G.H.T. brochure or call the church office for up-to-date information.  

 Home Bible Studies meet on a monthly basis in homes to study God’s Word together.  For more information about joining a group or forming a new group see Pastor Kevin Kleinheksel.

 W.O.W. (Winning Ottawa Women) offers a knitting and crocheting group which meets on the second Monday night of each month.  Women of any age and experience level are welcome to come and learn more or simply work on a project.  From time to time other activities and trips are planned.  Call the church office for a current calendar of events. 

Family Fellowship Activities are planned every month or two.  Bring the kids for a movie or game night.  Get to know some other people and have a good time doing it.   

Girls' Day Out is a ministry focused on Moms and their children.  Study groups meet on Wednesday mornings twice a month October through May and childcare is provided.   Several activities/trips are planned throughout the year. 

ORC Outdoors is a program for those who love the outdoors.  New activities are always being planned.  Call the church office for a current calendar of events.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

 Worship Team vocalists lead worship at every Sunday morning worship service.  Practice for each Sunday is held at 8:45am in the Sanctuary.  Sing as often as you would like.  Call the church office to volunteer. 

Car Care Plus on one Saturday morning in the Spring and one in the Fall, guys with mechanical ability change oil, filters and bulbs in cars for those who need a little help.  Stylists give free haircuts and health care professionals check blood pressure.  It is an opportunity to serve or to be served.  Call the church office for the next date.

For Your Information: 

Special Offerings are designated each month by the deacons for a mission need.  This offering is collected on the third Sunday morning of the month.

Prayer Chains by both e-mail and phone are used to inform members of current prayer needs.  Call the church office to submit information.

 Our Prayer Hotline at 875-7799 is a 24 hour hotline you can call to receive up-to-date prayer concerns

Our Nursery: Men, Women Couples, Grandpa’s and Grandma’s – many adults are needed to help staff our busy nursery.  Our nursery is always staffed by two adults and youth 10 years and older.  Childcare is offered during all worship services and for Wednesday night activities.  Call the church office to add your name to our list of volunteers.

Our Library has many books, books on tape, videos, tapes and CD’s available for all ages.  Librarians staff the library following each worship service. 

Outreach Opportunities

 Kid’s Hope USA is a one on one mentoring opportunity where mentors spend one hour a week with their student.   Ottawa is partnered with Roosevelt Elementary School.  If you are interested in becoming a Kid’s Hope Mentor see our Kid’s Hope Director, Lori Geerts.

Mission Trips are planned each year by our Outreach Council.  Members are encouraged to participate.  The H.O.M.E. (Hands On Mission
