Learn how here! 2026 Fall ORC LIGHT Brochure (coming soon) (class details & locations) Our Wednesday Night Offering, collected from September to December, will be used to purchase items for Operation Christmas Child, a Samaritan’s Purse project. This international relief organization collects shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items. It delivers them around the world as a means of reaching children with the Good News of Jesus Christ. For many children, it is the first gift they will ever receive. Let’s see how many shoeboxes we can put together! Student Registration Form Cancelation Information : In cases of inclement weather, a decision regarding cancelations will be made by 1:30 PM on Wednesdays. If Zeeland Public Schools are closed for the day, Wednesday Night Programs may or may not be canceled, depending on weather and road conditions as the day progresses. All Wednesday Night Programs are automatically canceled if students are sent home early from Zeeland Public Schools. tHE lIBRARY AT orc "Check out" our collection of fiction, non-fiction, teen, t'ween and children's books. Our non-fiction section is filled with devotionals, spiritual & family books. We've recently expanded our teen & t'ween fiction sections with many new exciting series. We are constantly adding to our existing series and adding new authors. We have over 100 family friendly DVD's & VHS tapes and over 150 children's DVD's & VHS tapes. "Check out" our puzzle library too! Ottawa Reformed Church has a library that offers many books, books on tape, videos, tapes and CD's, available for all ages. The Library is staffed following each worship service. Lori was born in Western Michigan and has made that her home. She is a mom of 4 adult children and has 4 grandchildren. She has been the Kids Hope USA director at Ottawa Reformed Church and Roosevelt Elementary School in Zeeland for over 21 years. Her life experiences have shaped her heart for people, and God is using this through KHU. Her primary responsibilities are to share the passion and vision of Kids Hope USA with Ottawa's members, recruiting, training and encouraging them as they meet and mentor with at-risk children at Roosevelt School and connecting with the KHU children and their families, reaching out to them through the love of Christ and His church. She enjoys her family, reading, traveling and meeting new people.

***** Star Scripture Memory Program ***** We encourage you to draw close to our Mighty God through His word, the Bible, and store up scripture in your heart! Memorizing scripture helps us learn about God’s love for us and our need for His saving grace. With some help from your parents and teachers, you can learn more and more of God’s precious words, promises, and commandments. Each time you memorize a passage, you will be excused from class to recite it to the Sunday School Secretary in the church basement office. Your name will be recorded on the Star Memory board, and once you’ve completed a level, you will be awarded a Star Memory Certificate to congratulate you on your achievement! Young Children Nursery We offer a nursery for both of our Sunday services staffed by two adults and one youth age ten or older. The nursery is located off of the north lobby on the main floor (all volunteers have passed a background check). Children & Worship Children & Worship is an exciting way that young children, ages 3 years through Kindergarten , experience God while learning about God. We worship in a special place apart from the congregation so that the children learn a joyful way to worship God. The children are dismissed to "Children and Worship" following the Children's message . We use a sensorimotor style of storytelling where God is experienced. The children respond to the stories of God through working with the story figures and art materials. The intent of worship is to experience and praise God. We learn that God is one of mystery, awe and wonder. We worship God using a greeting, praise song, Biblical stories and parables, prayer and blessing. This remarkably provides a way for young children to tell stories about God to others! Sunday School Sunday School classes are offered for all ages following the morning service from 11:00 -11:45 AM . Regular classes begin September 13, 2026, and will conclude on May 2, 2027. CREW - Children Really Exploring the Word CREW is for children ages 3 years through 1st grade . Children have the opportunity to participate with their peers while learning Biblical truths in story and song. The goal of this ministry is to enjoy God together as we learn and grow in Him. We meet in classrooms in the lower level of the church building from 6:30-8:00 PM on Wednesday nights from September 16, 2026, through March 31, 2027.

My name is Danielle and I am a lifelong member of Ottawa and have been involved in youth ministry for 8 years both as a volunteer and staff member. I have a love and passion for teaching students about Jesus and helping them grow deeper in relationship with Him. I strive to teach and model to students what God's Word says in the Great Commandment and Great Commission: Love God, Love Others, and Make Disciples! I am a wife and mother of two young boys. I enjoy creating new memories with my family, hiking, camping, traveling, thrifting, and anytime spent with family and friends because life is precious! My favorite verse is Proverbs 16:9 that whatever I do, God will direct and guide my path and I can trust in Him!

My name is Kristin Bredeweg. I have been married to Rick for almost 29 years and we call Jenison our home. We have two children, Noah who is 24 and a home owner, and Sophia, who is 21 and will become Alec Headley's wife on April 29, 2022. We have three dogs (I know, I'm crazy!), Woodson (Golden Retriever) and Kevin (Golden Doodle), who I adore and help keeps my sanity intact and then there's Jax (Golden Doodle puppy) that reverses my sanity! I best describe myself this way ... I'm a bus driving, haircutting, piano playing wife and mom who simply put loves Jesus, getting my worship on and encouraging others to do the same! I love "junking" (Goodwill, thrift stores and garage sales), being out in our boat on any part of Lake Michigan, CLOTHES and SHOES, and a good book. I truly believe that as Worship Coordinator it is my roll to prepare the hearts and minds of God's people to be open and excited to hear the word of God spoken to them! Hearing the voices of "all in" Jesus loving people is something I actually get giddy about and can't wait to come to church to hear and I am humbled and blessed to do that very thing with the people here at Ottawa Reformed Church!
